On the occasion of the performance of the musical "Jesus Christ Superstar" at the open-air theatre in Augsburg in the summer of 2006, we cooperated with the Theatre of Augsburg in order to realise an interactive installation in the centre of the city.

Passers-by were filmed by a camera and then projected on a screen. On this screen they find themselves in a group of fans, which is cheering Jesus on the red carpet. Jesus and his fans have been shot in bluescreen before. Thus visitors couls pose with Jesus for a foto which was printed immediately.

The back of the photo served as a flyer, showing all the dates the musical is performed on. That way on 10 evenings 1000 personalized invitations have been distributed that were likely to be accepted and to be kept!

The project was reallized at the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg, Departement of Design.
