»die Kiste« is the puppet theatre museum of Augsburg and with over 50.000 visitors per annum it is a case sui generis in Europe. The museum offers a special show which changes twice a year besides a permanent exhibition for Jim Knopf, Urmel & Co.. The special shows import relevant exhibits from all over the world.
The current special show runs from 11 March until 27 September 2009 and deals with “Come on: Move!” where we added three workout stations à la LAB BINÆR. By combining the ideas of “Trim Dich” and “Tele Gym” we created a concept which reminds of the popular example “Wii Fit” of the game pad producer Nintendo.
We produced three videos for the projections where a marionette as personal trainer shows different exercises out of the subject areas “Caveaerobic”, “Ski Workout” and “Balance” to the visitors. The exercices start by entering the prepared gym mats. The goal is to do the gymnastic as accurate and synchronal as possible. To be able to “supervise” the moves of the visitors we furnished the mats of ERHART SPORT with our sensors.
The course is recommended by the “Bayerischer Landes-Sportverband e.V” and guarantees adverse effects such as sporadic beads of sweat.
